The Friends of the Thomas Beaver Free Library invites anyone who loves books or libraries to join them in their support of the library by becoming a member of the Friends group! See the form on this page for how to join or renew your membership or stop by the library with your dues. Monthly meetings are held on the third Thursday at 6:30 PM at the library.

Tote Bags
The Friends of the Library are helping you recycle and reuse by providing a tote bag for a donation of $6.00. Proceeds from the sale of the totes will also help the library be sustained. Come to either desk at the Library and get one for yourself and one for a friend.
COOKBOOKS
The Friends of the Library Cookbook is available at the Library in time for hearty recipes for the Fall and for gifts at the holidays. There are 150 recipes of all varieties and ethnicities from members of our community. The book is a bargain at $6.00. Proceeds from the sale benefit the Library for needed items not available with a limited budget.
Mission Statement
The purpose of the Friends of the Thomas Beaver Free Library is to develop
community awareness of library resources, support library programs and
respond to the many needs of the library to the best of the group's ability
Activities have Included:
Purchasing Books-on-Tape for the library collection.
Providing a refrigerator in the Community Room and new mini-blinds for the library.
Contributing to the building fund.
Purchasing graphic novels to engage young adults.
Purchasing a projector and a disc cleaner.
Paying for the refurbishing of the Book Drop box and the bicycle rack.
Generously donating for the purchase of books for the children's' reading programs.
Sponsoring a Pool and Pizza Party, for children in the Summer Reading program.
Fundraising efforts include a used Book Sale. |
